PLANT CONSTRUCTION
High-performance system for use in physical deacidification
| Description |
 |
|
Flow chart of the AQUADOSIL system: The entry of air is in cross current to the flow
of water using fine-pore ceramic elements.
|
| Application |
deacidification (stripping of carbonic acid)
aeration of ground water containing iron
and manganese
stripping of low votalile substances
(hydrocarbons, solvents, radon, and so on)
The patented AQUADOSIL system is assigned to the cross flow process in the systematics
of physical deacidification
processes; a horizontal flow of water is admitted with air in vertical directions.
We use pipes consisting of a plastic-free sinter material for the air entrainment. This material agrees with the
requirements of KTW and passes the
microbiological film test according to DVGW work sheet W 270.

Elevated performances in the deacidification at low energy
demand are attainable due to an entry of fine air bubbles via ceramic aeration pipes.
Elimination of carbonic acid up to a concentration of 1,5 mg/l.
Thus, the requirements of the new drinking water regulation for the deacidification
(pH-value
7,7; solubility capacity of calcite
5 mg/l) nearly are met with all natural waters.
Simple adjustment of the performance of deacidification to
changing requirements by variation of air supply
The flat construction also enables a direct insertion of
the plant into the water chamber |
